Join our team as an Occupational Therapist in our Early Intervention program and contribute significantly to helping children with developmental challenges. Competent Care is an accredited Early Intervention Program in New York City, staffed with New York State licensed and certified professionals. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care and services to families ensuring positive outcomes for their children. Our services are tailored to each child's needs and are delivered in their natural environments, including homes, daycares, and community settings. Make Your Own Schedule : Control when and how much you work, tailoring your hours to best fit your life's demands. Choose the number and intensity of your cases, enabling a balanced approach to your workload. Enjoy a competitive compensation structure designed to support both your immediate and long-term financial needs. Evaluate children's functional abilities and daily living skills. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to promote children's participation in activities of daily living. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to integrate therapeutic strategies into the children's routines. Monitor and document progress towards goals, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate and empower family members and other caregivers to support the child’s development and participation in natural environments. Manage scheduling and caseload based on personal availability and capacity. Valid NYS license as an Occupational Therapist. Experience in pediatric occupational therapy or early intervention preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse families and team members. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
