WSP's Visualization and Data Intelligence (VDI) national practice provides expert support for professional services consulting initiatives. WSP is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the VDI Web Team in Buffalo, NY ; consideration will also be given to candidates based at other WSP office locations . The successful candidate will support a variety of consulting projects of differing complexity and duration, collaborating closely with colleagues and clients within a dynamic and adaptable work environment. The team's approach integrates aspects of both agile (scrum) and traditional (waterfall) development methodologies, tailored to meet client requirements and project objectives.

As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to various web development projects while enhancing your technical expertise, collaborative capabilities, and professional competencies. Your Impact

• Architect, develop, launch and maintain scalable .NET web applications.
• Lead front-end development with a focus on accessibility and responsiveness.
• Drive UI / UX design execution.
• Create technical specs and contribute to core code and documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and optimize performance.
• Support, enhance, and maintain legacy systems.
• Mentor team members and support business development efforts.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

or Associate's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field plus 10 years in related field.

Compensation :

Expected Salary (all locations) : $130,000 - $163,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and / or federal law.
