How will you make an impact? Joining the Global Sustainability team, the Supplier Decarbonization Manager plays a key role in promoting sustainability across operations, products, and the supply chain. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supplier Sustainability, this position entails engaging with key suppliers to promote sustainability and decarbonization, monitoring and reporting supplier compliance, and integrating sustainability into supply chain decisions.

What will you do?

• Become a change agent supporting our environmental sustainability objectives. Work with the businesses, procurement, and R&D to set strategy on supplier selection and supplier compliance.
• Engage key suppliers in support of Thermo Fisher's net zero goals and Scope 3 emissions reduction ambitions.
• Educate suppliers on greenhouse gas emissions topics including carbon foot printing, GHG emissions base-lining, renewable electricity and decarbonization road mapping.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish timelines and achievements for meeting Thermo Fisher supply chain sustainability expectations.
• Support the development and distribution of content related to decarbonization such as supplier toolkits and trainings.
• Drive supplier adoption of digital solutions for managing supplier engagement and emissions data sharing.
• Support sustainable procurement objectives and advise on preferred supplier lists and other compliance initiatives.
• Monitor all actions and benchmarks to uphold net-zero goals and ensure high data quality.
• Engage with key collaborators across a variety of business functions, developing trust and rapport with senior leaders.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00$115,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and / or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
