It’s ideal for someone looking to grow within the finance function while contributing to quarterly and annual NAIC filings. + We’re looking for someone who :Has 2–4 years of experience in P&C Statutory Insurance AccountingHolds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related Business fieldHas 1–3 years of direct insurance accounting experience (CPA preferred)Understands Property & Casualty insurance accounting principles and terminologyIs highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelManages tasks independently while adapting to shifting prioritiesHas strong organizational and analytical skills with a high attention to detailCommunicates clearly and works well with both internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrates integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic + What you’ll do :Record and reconcile journal entries for revenue, investments, losses, and expensesMaintain and reconcile key balance sheet accountsPrepare and file quarterly / annual statements for assigned insurance entitiesSubmit various regulatory filingsSupport internal and external audit processes and documentationEnsure internal controls are operating effectivelyConduct ad hoc analysis of key expense categories to support monthly closeProvide financial reporting support and assist with fluctuation analysis Employment Type : Full Time Years Experience : 3 - 5 years Salary : $80,000 - $100,000 Annual Bonus / Commission : No
