Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location. Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the premises, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Complete security-related reports and document incidents or unusual activities observed during patrols. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors, offering assistance and guidance as needed. Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as those specific to the location, to maintain a secure environment. Work collaboratively with location personnel and other Allied Universal team members to address potential security-related concerns. Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver - Tech in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with employees and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will utilize your strong communication skills and attention to detail while working as part of a collaborative team. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.
