The Operations Manager assists the Security Manager in the management and direction of staff and activities designed to protect and preserve corporate assets and personnel in a manner consistent with the client policies, standards, and procedures as well as mandated federal, state, and municipal regulations.

What Your Day May Look Like
Primary on-site liaison between Securitas Security Services and client senior management.
Review post orders and daily log reports and provide recommendations and assessments for improvement.
Ensure officers meet company standards pertaining to quality of work performed and in compliance with all company and client policies and procedures.
Participate in recruitment selection and placement, conduct performance reviews, manage attendance and scheduling, and conflict resolution and retention of high caliber staff.
Review alarm system reports, compile exception reports and forward to appropriate management for review.
Provide monthly reports to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues.

Position Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Bachelor degree with 4 to 7 years of major law enforcement, military, fire, and / or emergency management experience or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible security related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of security operations, including fire protection, hazardous materials handling, workplace health and safety issues.
Proven skills in financial, legal, and human resources administration.
Ability to act in a decisive manner in emergency situations.
Strong managerial skills and the ability to assert oneself.
Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills.
Working knowledge of process improvement systems.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation and computer skills.
Serve as a positive team leader with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
