We are working with an early-stage AI startup who are building core infrastructure for turning complex, unstructured data into reliable, production-ready systems used by real enterprise customers.
We’re looking for a Founding Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale the technical foundation of the company from day one.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and scale core backend systems that power document intelligence and VLM-driven workflows
- Own production infrastructure holistically, including deployments, monitoring, performance, and reliability
- Design and operate high-throughput, low-latency services in real-world production environments
- Lead systems through the full lifecycle, from R&D to production to enterprise scale
- Build and maintain cloud and on-premise deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for enterprise customers
Qualifications
This role is on site in San Francisco
Salary up to $300,000 + meaningful equity
