PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Propane Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for the following functions :
- Delivers propane to commercial and residential customers.
- May provide backup to Oil Delivery Drivers as business needs dictate.
- Complies with all EPA regulations surrounding the safe and responsible handling of hazardous chemicals.
- Exercises strong attention to detail to prevent deliveries to incorrect addresses and reduce the risk of accidents and
spills.
Conducts regular pre and post trip inspections to ensure the optimal operation of assigned truck.Performs on-call duties on a rotating basis.Responds to any motor vehicle accidents and / or hazardous chemical spills in a professional manner, managingmitigation in accordance with company, state, federal, and DOT / FMCSA operating rules.
Complies with all company, state, federal, and DOT / FMCSA operating rules.Represents the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times.Performs all other similar duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
High school degree or equivalent.Valid CDL A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or CDL B with HazMat endorsement.Valid, current DOT Medical Card.TWICCurrent CETP 1.0 training.Ability to work extended hours as necessary, especially during peak demand seasons.Willingness to deploy across the country in response to natural disasters as a FEMA contractor.Preferred :
OSHA 10Prior experience working for a fuel company.Prior experience transporting gas and / or liquid.Bilingual in English or Spanish.WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Frequently required to stand, walk, and operate tools and heavy equipment.Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds independently, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.Must be able to accurately see colors and smell.
