Records Management Program Lead

The Records Management Program Lead is responsible for implementing and maintaining the records-lifecycle management processes and supporting the Document Control Manager in ensuring the availability of controlled information to meet quality / business / compliance needs.
Specific responsibilities may include :
- Configure / manage EDRMS workflows and permissions to allow for proper record authentication, submission, correction, and retrieval
- Implement process record lifecycle management (type / series identification, classification, indexing, retention, and archival / disposition)
- Establish and enforce retention schedules to ensure efficient and effective long-term, controlled custody, accessibility, and integrity of records
- Write and update policies and procedures to support program objectives and comply with regulatory, legal, corporate, and contractual requirements
- Support DCRM programmatic initiatives and process improvement
- Support QA audits, surveillances, and management assessments as needed
- Identify and collect records metrics for management reporting
- Maintain confidentiality regarding various types of sensitive information
- Supervise and mentor Records Management support personnel (e.g., records custodian)
- Train other department personnel and / or records liaisons in basic recordkeeping practices
- Support other departments to troubleshoot, find solutions, and enable successful recordkeeping
- Collaborate with other departments to support cross-cutting efforts, including IT policies, procurement / supplier processes, licensing and permitting, engineering design control, and QA / training records
We are looking for a Records Management Program Lead who knows about :
Using an Electronic Document / Records Management System (EDRMS) in a technical, engineering, scientific, government, legal, or business settingDesigning and implementing a records repository complete with retention schedules and classification / indexing schemesComplying with Nuclear QA recordkeeping regulations (e.g., ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NRC RG 1.28, and related DOE directives)Handling and understanding construction and engineering documents and recordsApplying NARA's guidelines and practices and NIRMA's technical guidesTying records management to integrated safety management and change / configuration controlWorking with software such as MS Word / Excel, Gmail / Calendar, Adobe Acrobat Pro, ERMS system (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, Devonway); bonus software proficiency includes Box, Slack, Confluence, Jira, SharePointMaintaining and protecting confidential / proprietary information through various means, including disclosure restrictions, need to know, and role-based permissionsUnderstanding information management and relational database concepts, including metadata and queriesManaging time and workload using strong administrative and organizational skillsEducating others on recordkeeping requirements in a collaborative and helpful mannerTyping and data entry skillsWe are looking for a Records Management Program Lead who is :

810 yrs in records and document control in a regulated industry (nuclear strongly preferred), with five of those in an NQA-1 or ISO 90001 records programEducation : Bachelor's degree, preferably related to Library / Information Science or BusinessAbility to use video conferencing and cloud-based appsWilling and able to travel ~15% of workdaysU.S. citizenship requiredBonus Qualifications :

Salary : $88,000-$105,000

About Oklo Inc. : Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy.
