Position Summary

The Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (SCPM) Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery invites applications for the full-time, clinical educator-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level. Responsibilities include teaching SCPM students in the large groups, small group, and one-on-one settings by providing instruction in surgery, applied biomechanics, medicine, and radiology rotations, didactic courses, and other assignments as designated by the department chair. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in the preparation and formulation of didactic material.
• Prepare quizzes, midterm and final exams as dictated by the course syllabus.
• Consult with students about their academic progress.
• Use technology to supplement and enhance the learning environment for the students.
• Provide patient care at Community Podiatry sites or Scholl Foot and Ankle Clinics.
• Conduct research in the clinical setting in conjunction with the Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR).
• Provide service to the College and University as agreed upon with the Chair.

All full-time faculty members employed by RFUMS are expected to engage in activities that are considered core to their primary role as a faculty member. These activities may include teaching, scholarly activity, and service.
