Seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our faculty as a Contract (Non-Tenure-Track) in the Department of Education. This position is designed for individuals who have a passion for teaching, research, and mentoring in the field of literacy education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in reading and literacy education The majority of the teaching is in-person, but some online teaching may be required online; supervise student teaching and field placements; and contribute to the department's mission through scholarly activities and service.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in K-12 literacy instruction, who hold a valid Reading Teacher / Reading Specialist K-12 License, and a master's degree in education; a doctorate is preferred. ACT 20 training or a demonstrated commitment to completing this certification is highly preferred.
