About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1.5 years preferred, no first-time travelers without significant experience.

License : Required

Certifications : CRCST or CBSPD required

Must-Have :

• Previous experience using Steris SPM instrument tracking software
• Processes and maintains proper care of all surgical instruments and equipment including scopes and powered surgical instruments
• Inspection and evaluation of proper function, cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilization
• Maintains quality control and documentation records of the sterilization process
• Distributes designated supplies and equipment to various areas

Description :

Will rotate with team members in decontamination, assembly, and sterilization duties.

Must be able to operate steam sterilizers, VPro units, and Medivators independently.

Candidate will float between departments within the same building.

Role includes maintenance of a wide variety of instruments for different service lines.

These include orthopedics, ophthalmology, neuro, plastics, ENT, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, GYN, robotics, and general.

Duties also encompass high-level disinfection, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and decontamination.

Experienced support from Sterile Processing Technicians will be available on the shift.

Candidates without SPM Tracking experience will be declined.

No holiday or weekend rotation required.

No on-call responsibilities.

RTO requests need manager approval.
