Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Andover, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in accounting practices. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and supporting audits.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and completing account reconciliations.
• Generate precise financial reports in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers to maintain accuracy.
• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
• Develop audit schedules and assist with both internal and external audit procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and accounting regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within accounting operations.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and guarantee accurate reporting.
