Tax Manager (Top Firm)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements and manage multiple projects. In this role, you will oversee tax return reviews, provide guidance to staff, and mentor team members to help them meet client and personal development goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, complex engagements while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Oversee project phases, including planning, budgeting, and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
• Supervise and provide on-the-job training to staff, offering constructive feedback.
• Review tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and pass-through entities.
• Build strong client relationships, guiding them through all aspects of the tax engagement.
• Research tax law, develop tax planning strategies, and ensure compliance with changing regulations.
• Support partners in business development and operational goals, while identifying new service opportunities.
• Manage and resolve project challenges, ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
• Active CPA or EA preferred. CPA-eligibility will be considered as well
• 5+ years of experience working in a public accounting setting
