Customer Service Representative I

Our client, a leader in the customer service industry, is seeking a Customer Service Representative I (SCA) to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting various government programs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure, which will align successfully with the organization's mission.

Location: McAllen, TX (Must live in Rio Grande Valley)

Pay Range: Depends on Project - $14.00-$20.00

Shift: Open availability is needed ranging from 6AM to 9PM Monday through Saturday

What's the Job?

• Handle high volumes of inbound and/or outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide accurate information, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries regarding program eligibility, application status, and documentation requirements.
• Navigate and update multiple computer systems, including case management tools and government platforms.
• Document all interactions and ensure timely follow-ups when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of current program guidelines, policies, and procedures.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a call center environment.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, including multitasking across multiple applications and typing a minimum of 35 WPM.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
