Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception : an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer / promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer / promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3 / 5 of the normal workweek. Probationary period will not apply to shift changes.

Mental Health Specialist / Family Team Conference Facilitator (Full-time)

University Behavioral Associates (UBA) of Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York is seeking an excellent Family Team Conference (FTC) Facilitator, which will work closely with current child welfare programs. The FTC Facilitator will have a Masters-level degree and must be clinically licensed or license-eligible in a social services field (e.g., social work, mental health counseling). This individual will coordinate, organize, and lead Family Team Conferences in the office or the community; will outreach, liaise, and collaborate with community based providers and services, and will disseminate information to staff and supervisors. This individual will also be involved with quality improvement strategies, and complete assessments for clients with strict oversight by a licensed professional.

This role will also include activities consistent with funder requirements, participating in training, supervision, and consultation activities, and providing periodic 24-hour on-call coverage. Strong written and verbal skills and excellent computer and organizational skills required. Bilingual candidates (English-Spanish) preferred. Evenings and weekends may be required.
