Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting & Technical Reporting

Location : On-site

Compensation : Up to $175K + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, PTO)

We're partnering with a global manufacturing leader on a confidential search for a Senior Manager to join their corporate accounting team. This influential role will drive technical accounting initiatives, support external financial reporting, and act as a strategic advisor across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and corporate close processes, along with strong leadership and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure accurate accounting for complex transactions under U.S. GAAP, including derivatives, pensions, stock compensation, goodwill, debt / equity, and business combinations.
• Perform technical accounting research and collaborate with global teams to resolve issues.
• Stay current on evolving accounting standards and lead implementation efforts.
• Strengthen internal controls related to accounting policies and new guidance.
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for corporate entities and global consolidation.
• Maintain compliance with SOX and internal control frameworks.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of external financial disclosures, including earnings releases, 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other SEC filings.
• Enhance reporting processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide accounting insights to business units and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a primary liaison for internal and external auditors during reviews and audits.
