Senior Product Marketing Manager : We are looking for an experienced marketer to lead customer listening, go‑to‑market strategy, positioning, and adoption for key areas within our Publisher and Platform portfolio. This role covers products such as Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft Monetize, Microsoft Curate, third‑party DSP integrations, privacy and identity solutions, and CRM / martech solutions.
This strategic, high‑impact position sits at the intersection of product, customer, and market. You will partner with product management, sales, and marketing to shape product direction, craft compelling value propositions, and drive adoption through thoughtful go‑to‑market execution. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, advocate for customer needs, and help define how Microsoft delivers value to our customers and partners.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI employees who live within a 50‑mile commute of a designated U.S. office or a 25‑mile commute of a non‑U.S. location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Customer Listening & Market Insights : Lead customer listening strategies and market intelligence efforts to uncover growth opportunities, inform investment priorities, and shape the product roadmap. Partner with field teams to engage directly with clients, synthesize feedback, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Conduct competitive analysis to assess market dynamics, identify Microsoft’s differentiation, and anticipate business implications. Drive the development of insights from user research, industry trends, and market signals to influence product and business decisions.
- Product Positioning, Messaging & Value Proposition : Define and evolve differentiated product positioning and value propositions that resonate with customer needs and business outcomes. Develop clear, compelling messaging frameworks supported by proof points and aligned across internal stakeholders. Enable partner teams with client‑facing narratives and assets, and contribute to marquee product launches through blog posts, event presentations, and other storytelling formats.
- Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Execution : Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies that drive product adoption, customer satisfaction, and business impact. Set clear goals and success metrics, and orchestrate marketing and sales motions across channels. Plan and deliver high‑impact launch strategies, leveraging key industry moments and first‑party events to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Enablement & Scaling : Ensure internal teams—including Sales, Marketing, and Learning & Development—are equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively communicate our roadmap, positioning, and value. Lead strategic training sessions and develop scalable enablement materials that drive clarity, confidence, and excitement around product offerings.
- Growth Mindset & Inclusive Innovation : Champion a culture of continuous learning and inclusive thinking. Proactively seek feedback from diverse customers and stakeholders to uncover new opportunities and reduce bias in AI‑driven products. Foster open dialogue, encourage reflection, and ensure all voices are heard in shaping product and marketing strategies.

Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field and 3+ years of experience in business.OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in business.OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or similar roles, leading cross‑organizational teams and working with engineering partners.3+ years of experience in applying customer listening approaches to inform and influence product development.3+ years of experience in product positioning and value proposition, translating complex features into compelling narratives.Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field and 6+ years of experience in business.OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field and 8+ years of experience in business.OR equivalent experience.Experience in Advertising, Monetization & Publisher Ecosystems : Deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape—including agency, publisher, or brand perspectives. Experience with publisher platforms and monetization strategies is especially valuable. Familiarity with alternative models such as subscriptions is a plus.Strategic Agility & Adaptability : Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, iterate on new concepts, and respond to changing priorities. Brings a growth mindset, curiosity, and a proactive approach to exploring new ideas and business models.Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Influence : Proven experience working across teams to build alignment, drive shared outcomes, and resolve complex issues. Skilled at fostering solid partnerships and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.Analytical & Data‑Driven Decision Making : Strong problem‑solving skills grounded in data. Able to identify trends, generate hypotheses, and test solutions to inform strategy and scale impact.Go‑to‑Market Innovation & Category Development : Experience launching disruptive products and driving demand for emerging categories. Skilled in crafting go‑to‑market strategies that shape market perception and accelerate adoption.AI & Emerging Technology Familiarity : Exposure to generative AI products professionally or as a power user. Understanding of AI agents and their potential in marketing and advertising scenarios. Awareness of the evolving AI landscape and its implications for monetization.Product Marketing IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 – $203,600 per year. The base pay range for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $137,600 – $222,600 per year.
