Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve patient accounts, ensuring timely follow-up on claims and disputed balances

Document account actions and maintain productivity goals while addressing any workflow inconsistencies

Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays to management as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications

Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
