Underground Contractors, Inc. is seeking experienced Aerial Communication Foremen for our new NW Ohio territory which runs between Toledo, Findlay and Sandusky . Experience in all facets of aerial outside plant construction including bucket access and back easement climbing, print reading regarding Aerial strand and fiber optic cable construction. Experience driving and operating aerial line trucks.

Must have your own climbing gear and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Be an effective leader of an aerial construction crew, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
• Oversee the installation of cabling and aerial equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ability to organize materials, equipment, and keep crew on schedule
• Working knowledge of telecommunications industry, engineering work prints, ability to understand and interpret construction documents.
• Experience working in both standard and high-risk areas, such as areas with live utilities, as well as knowledge of utility depths and placement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and work under pressure to meet assigned deadlines.
• Detail oriented w / strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Valid CDLA w / air brake no restrictions is preferred
