Job Details – ER RN Travel Assignment Location : Kent, Washington (98042) – Seattle metro area Facility : 58-bed community hospital with 19 dedicated ER rooms Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Department Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 17, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (days, mids, evenings, nights, variable) Scrub Color : Royal or Navy Blue (black pants permitted) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (first-time travelers considered with 4 years ED experience) Active Registered Nurse license (WA state or compact license) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, MOAB / CPI, NIHSS, NRP, PALS (ENPC not accepted) Clinical proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, ED medication administration, conscious sedation, blood administration, cardiac medications, code blue response, chest tube management, central line setup (A-lines, CVP), ventilator management, and stabilization of high acuity patients Epic charting experience preferred Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics Assess, stabilize, and prepare high acuity and complex patients for transfer to higher-level care facilities Respond to trauma cases (falls, gunshot wounds, motor vehicle accidents), sepsis, COVID-19, STEMI, stroke, diabetic ketoacidosis, respiratory and cardiac emergencies, neurological issues, and mental health crises Participate in mock drills and ongoing education for rare emergency deliveries and patient transfers Float as needed to other units or locations (upstairs as nurse extender or Auburn campus) Utilize Epic EMR, Alaris pumps, Pyxis medication system, and central / bedside telemetry monitoring Take your emergency nursing career to the next level with this travel RN job in Kent, Washington.
