Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Special Education Teacher (SPED) Elementary ASD Self-contained Classroom Norwalk, CT.$40 - $45 + hour based on experience, education, and certifications.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.

Valid Connecticut teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.

Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder classrooms.

Knowledge of structured teaching and behavioral supports.

This position provides instruction and support for elementary students with ASD in a self-contained classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Create structured, supportive learning environments.

Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs.

Collaborate with families, staff, and specialists.

Support communication, social, and academic skill development.

Collect and analyze student progress data.
