Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong balance of mechanical and electrical experience to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in problem-solving, and doesn’t mind working overtime when needed to keep production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and facility systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Diagnose issues with motors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, and control panels.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, wiring, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Fabricate and assemble parts as needed using hand tools, welders, and machining equipment.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in the CMMS system.

Follow all safety policies and procedures; identify and report potential hazards.

Work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as production needs require.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred.

3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or similar environment).

Strong mechanical aptitude with solid understanding of electrical systems.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of AC / DC motors, VFDs, and control circuits.

Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS software.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active industrial environment.

Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
