Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 public school located in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a full academic year contract. This position offers the opportunity to support students from elementary through high school by applying your expertise in psychoeducational assessment, collaborative intervention, and counseling within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct prehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Participate in Eligibility Determination and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings following Colorado Department of Education (CDE) guidelines and IDEA regulations.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions.
• Provide short-term individual or group counseling and crisis support to students.
• Serve on Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) teams.
• Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Support district initiatives related to social-emotional learning (SEL), trauma-informed care, and school safety.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records, pleting reports promptly.
• Uphold ethical standards as set by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
