Tax Associate

JSI invites you to join our team as a Tax Associate on our Regulatory & Tax Compliance team in a remote capacity where you'll play a critical role in advancing broadband and telecommunications initiatives that expand connectivity and drive digital inclusion—while advancing your career within a mission-driven, growth-focused organization.

Position Overview :

As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for supporting tax filings, electronic data submissions, and reconciliation of sales tax returns. In this role, you will work closely with the Tax Team to process online filings, resolve tax notices, and contribute to process improvement initiatives across tax compliance operations.

Responsibilities

• Processing online tax return filings, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs).
• Preparing required forms and documentation for filing taxes.
• Collaborating on efforts to update filing compliance documentation.
• Assisting in the resolution of tax notices.
• Supporting the Tax Team with special projects and other tasks as needed.
