Commercial Wood Framing Carpenter

We are looking for experienced and dependable Commercial Wood Framing Carpenters to join our construction team. This position involves working on a variety of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail developments, and multi-family housing. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and construction plans

Measure, cut, and assemble wood framing components accurately

Install structural elements such as walls, floors, and roofs

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Follow all safety protocols and building codes

Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades on site

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial wood framing

Proficiency in reading construction documents and using framing tools

Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards

Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions

Dependable transportation to job sites

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with metal stud framing or panelized systems

Familiarity with tilt-up construction methods

Safety certifications such as fall protection or OSHA 10 / 30

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
