Associate Collections Representative

This position is responsible for receiving and initiating calls with patients to collect payments and settle accounts. Follows-up on accounts, receives and processes payments, and updates incomplete and missing account information. Collaborates with patients to create payment arrangements and counsels' patients on financial assistance programs

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of Monday - Thursday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm CST and Friday, 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Coordinates the resolution of unpaid accounts.
• Receives and resolves calls from patients, insurance companies, attorneys, and departments.
• Obtains and processes payments.
• Collaborates with patients to create payment arrangements.
• Updates incomplete and missing account information.
• Documents collection activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 - $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
