GENERAL FUNCTION :

The Director will lead a team of engineers and managers responsible for building and maintaining the technology platforms that support Capital Markets products, including Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities, and Market Data. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong people leadership, and the ability to align engineering execution with business strategy.

KEY FUNCTIONS :

• Lead platform engineering teams supporting interest rate derivatives, commodities, and market data.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including CI / CD, cloud-native architectures, and observability.
• Ensure platform resiliency and performance to meet near 100% uptime expectations.
• Collaborate with product, risk, compliance, and operations teams to deliver regulatory-compliant solutions.
• Manage talent development, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Execute insourcing strategies and knowledge transfer plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Duties include, but are not limited to performance management, focused investment in people growth and direction, feedback coaching and disciplinary activities (if needed), succession planning, recognition of employees, etc.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

CAPITAL MARKETS EXPERIENCE (preferred, not required).
