We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated Senior Civil Litigation Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, with a focus on Plaintiff's Personal Injury. With a minimum of five years of experience, and at least one year in personal injury, you will have the chance to work in a challenging, stimulating, and rewarding environment where you can make a significant impact.

Responsibilities :

As a Senior Civil Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities. These include :

  • Managing a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on Plaintiff's Personal Injury.
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and conducting discovery.
  • Representing clients in court, at settlement conferences, and in mediation or arbitration proceedings.
  • Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Providing sound legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of cases.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in the law and legal industry, and applying this knowledge to your work.
  • Upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications :

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of Texas
  • A minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on Plaintiff's Personal Injury.
  • Excellent litigation skills, including experience in drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable settlements for clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to client service, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • The ability to manage a large caseload and multiple priorities, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development and learning.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
