Process Development Engineer

A medical device client of ours is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join a fast-paced team supporting a growing instrumentation business. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you'll wear many hats. This role will engage with customers and translate their needs into manufacturable solutions.

Location : Anoka, MN

Salary : 90-120k, depends on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer-facing technical resource to understand new product requirements and ensure internal stakeholders (Quality, Operations, etc.) are aligned.
• Provide DFM guidance and proactive design feedback to improve cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
• Own process development activities including fixture / tooling design, tolerance stack-up analysis, and second operations (e.g., deburring, assembly).
• Create and maintain BOMs, routers, and CAD documentation within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and other subject matter experts to support the successful launch of new products.
• Support manufacturing of precision-machined components for medical device OEMs.
