between production, test, and design teams for operational support
and triage of issues regarding hardware testing and manufacturing.

A day
in the life
As a Sr. Power Avionics Hardware Test
Engineer you will work within the development engineering team to
support production of avionics hardware. You will be responsible
for dispositioning nonconforming parts, and leading the material
review board (MRB) for your system(s); working with the design team
to root-cause issues for both components and test systems. You will
support the overall manufacturing test flow and strive for process
excellence, looking for opportunities to improve yield and
efficiency. You will be an expert in how your system(s) are tested
and provide training support for manufacturing technicians, as well
as co-develop and sign off on manufacturing procedures.
You will work with a team of top-notch
engineers and collaborate with multiple other spacecraft design and
integration teams. You should be comfortable with a high degree of
ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that
haven't been solved at scale before. Along the way, we

team
Our team is responsible for designing and
delivering power avionics subsystems such as propulsion control,
solar array deployment and control, and magnetorquer bars. We take
ownership and work hard to deliver the highest quality solutions to
support the long-term success of Project Kuiper. This team consists
of a broad set of technical backgrounds, and we look forward to

BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS
equivalent experience.
in a design, test, or production manufacturing role with new or
established electronics product lines.
manufacturing test flows and automation within space, automotive,
industrial, or consumer electronics industries.
Experience or familiarity with root cause analysis of electronic
devices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with space hardware qualification and test campaigns.
conception to sustained production.
statistical analysis of manufacturing processes (Cpk, Ppk,
etc.)
execute product design from concept to production
Demonstrated ability to manage technical projects from inception to
mature execution.
manufacturing and test flows.
PCBA bring-up, test, and debug.
analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, etc.) to decompose manufacturing
process efficiency, yields, etc.

Our
compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US
geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from
$122,400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600 / year
in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of
factors including market location and may vary depending on
job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total
