Duration : 12+ Months with Possible Extension

Location : Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Pay Range : $52.00 - $57.00 Per Hour W2

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder)

Job Summary :

This role focuses on supporting environmental screening and validation of hardware components for groundbreaking satellite launches within the client team. Positioned in a high-tech lab environment, it is pivotal to ensuring components withstand the challenges of space. The engineer will collaborate across disciplines to maintain the highest standards of testing and integration of both hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute and monitor environmental qualification tests, including vibration and thermal cycling.
• Troubleshoot hardware / software integration issues during testing phases.
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure product quality.
• Utilize scripting languages (Python, TestStand, PowerShell) to streamline testing processes.
• Ensure adherence to aerospace protocols and project standards during all testing activities.

Must-Have Skills :

Industry Experience :

Prior experience in aerospace, satellite technology, or related fields is highly advantageous, emphasizing the unique demands of environmental testing for space deployment.
