The Fitness Director is responsible for overseeingall fitness-related programming, staff, and facilities within the community.This role ensures that members have access to safe, effective, and engagingfitness opportunities that promote health and well-being. The Fitness Directorwill lead the development of fitness programs, manage instructors and personaltrainers, teach classes, maintain equipment, and foster a welcoming andinclusive fitness environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and evaluatefitness and wellness programs tailored to community needs.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervisefitness staff, including instructors. Able to teach a minimum of ten (10)classes per week.
• Oversee the maintenance andcleanliness of all fitness equipment and facilities.
• Monitor participant feedback andadjust programming to ensure satisfaction and effectiveness.
• Develop partnerships with healthprofessionals and organizations to enhance community wellness initiatives.
• Manage the department budget,equipment purchases, and program marketing.
• Ensure compliance with safetystandards and emergency procedures.
• Provide fitness assessments andconsultations when necessary.
• Promote fitness programs throughcommunity outreach.
• Track participation and preparemonthly and annual reports on fitness program performance.

Full-Time Mon-Fri and Weekedns as Needed Flexible Hours

Pay Rate : Up to $26 DOE

Skills & Qualifications
