Job descriptionWelcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures Record accurate medical histories Collect oral health histories Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments Teach good oral hygiene techniques Take appropriate x-rays prescribed by the doctor Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Associates Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelors or Masters degree preferred Current Dental Hygienist licensure At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines Excellent communication and customer service skills

You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least two years of experience. If youre friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!
