We are seeking an HVAC Control Systems Technician (BAS Technician) to join our federal team supporting the National Defense University location in Washington D.C.

Shift : 7 : 30am 3 : 30pm, Monday Friday.

Benefits : Eligible for benefits on first day of employment

Vacation : 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year (6.5 weeks in total)

As a Control Systems Operator, you will :

• Continuously monitors the Facility Control Systems, primarily using Siemens BAS system to ensure proper operation of all systems and equipment
• Maintain and monitor the performance of the Facility Control Systems. This includes monitoring and managing equipment and system alarms utilizing graphical user interfaces and control system programs
• Validates equipment and system alarms, and creates work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, point-to-point checkouts, troubleshooting and / or replacement of HVAC controls systems & equipment; most work will involve Siemens DDC controls with some Johnson Controls Metasys building automation system and controls
• Test and perform modifications to systems software when needed
• May perform minor maintenance and service on HVAC equipment to include, but not limited to, filter changes, greasing, and other preventative maintenance duties
• Other duties as assigned
