Requirements - 2 years tax experienceExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAdaptable and resourceful tax associateHigh attention to detailTechnology savvyProject management skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple clients’ needs simultaneouslyHighly self-motivated and versatileDedication to self-improvement and an eagerness to grow in the public accounting professionMust have strong technology skills and be proficient with all aspects of Microsoft OfficeTax Associates with knowledge and experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS and Accounting CS, QuickBooks Online, & Gusto is a plusMust have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to listen effectivelyWork well under pressure; able to meet deadlines with accuracyAbility to learn processes quickly and apply that knowledge to engagementsTeam player with a desire to be an active participant within the organizationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university (minimum of 150 college credits required)Masters in Accounting or Taxation (preferred)Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License or CPA CandidateResponsibilities :
Tax Associates will prepare federal and state corporate, individual, and partnership tax returnsResearch tax issues and legislation and interpret tax codeMake projections on future tax liabilities based on variable options to make client recommendations as part of the tax planning processInteract with client personnel regarding tax return information, deadlines, etc. and keep the team informed on statusKeep current on professional announcements and proactively participate in professional development opportunitiesJob Type : Full-time
