Our client creates the fastest and easiest way to create professional videos, serving over 4M users across 190+ countries.

About this role :

  • Architect and build performant, elegant UIs in React + TypeScript
  • Define and enforce frontend best practices and design system consistency
  • Solve complex UX challenges at the intersection of AI, video, and collaboration
  • Contribute across the stack (Node.js, APIs, infrastructure) when needed
  • Lead by example in code quality, accessibility, and attention to detail
  • Write clear, concise UI copy for buttons, tooltips, and error states

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build performant, elegant UIs in React + TypeScript
  • Define and enforce frontend best practices and design system consistency
  • Solve complex UX challenges at the intersection of AI, video, and collaboration
  • Contribute across the stack (Node.js, APIs, infrastructure) when needed
  • Lead by example in code quality, accessibility, and attention to detail
  • Write clear, concise UI copy for buttons, tooltips, and error states

    • Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a frontend engineer at a startup
  • Experience at multi-media or creative workspace tech SaaS startup (e.g. Canva, Figma, Notion, Webflow, Framer, Miro)
  • Comfortable taking ownership on small teams (shipping end-to-end features)
  • Strong track record of writing clean, scalable code
  • BS in Computer Science from a top computer science university
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
  • Strong understanding of CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS)
  • Ability to build and structure scalable, maintainable systems
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly through both design choices and microcopy
  • Attention to detail in UI / UX design and usability
  • Submit GitHub link with application
  • Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in San Francisco
