Location : San Francisco office (with regional teams across America, the UK, EMEA, Asia, Oceania).
Job Description Summary
As a Client Director in Global Client Solutions, you will cultivate and retain client relationships, drive new business, and ensure an exceptional client experience in partnership with dedicated investment teams.
Relationship Management & Retention
Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients in the San Francisco region, ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction and retention.
Partner with investment teams to deliver tailored solutions and address client needs, leveraging firm resources and expertise.
Develop and execute client engagement strategies, including regular meetings, portfolio reviews and feedback sessions.
New Business Development
Collaborate with the Business Development team to convert qualified leads into new client relationships across all segments.
Lead the proposal and onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition.
Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through cross-selling and deepening service offerings.
Strategic Partnership & Client Advocacy
Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients, providing guidance on firm capabilities, market trends and best practices.
Communicate investment concepts and firm solutions in an accessible manner, drawing on internal expertise as needed.
Work closely with internal teams (investment, operations, marketing) to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional service.
Support client service and business development activities with Associates, reporting lines for Associates may vary.
Foster a collaborative environment, sharing best practices and supporting the professional development of team members.
Performance & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, relationship status and business development activities in CRM systems.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on client retention, new business won and market feedback.
Achieve performance targets based on client retention and aggregate net revenue growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 12+ years of experience in client relationship management, business development, investment consulting or related fields.
Proven track record of building and retaining client relationships, as well as winning new business.
Familiarity with investment concepts and the ability to coordinate with investment professionals.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to travel as needed within the region.
Compensation
Base salary range : $181,500 – $246,800. In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package.
