Position Overview
Stacking Operator will include sorting, assembling and stacking groups of lead plates and separators to form groups. You will ensure that each group / stack has the correct number of separators and plates for specific battery on schedule.
Areas of Focus
Stacking Operator will be committed to performing the role safely and can wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including a respirator.
Responsibilities
Mid-Level
- Understand and practice the Quality policy
- Identify plates and separator types for each battery
- Detect and report defective materials
- Dispose of contaminated work materials in appropriate containers
- Cross-train in table moving function to perform this function as required
- Follow and maintain Lead activities (5S, good housekeeping, and hygiene practices)
- Must be clean shaven
- All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site

High School Diploma, GED, or greater requiredMinimum six months' experience in production, construction, warehouse, or similar work environmentBasic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructionsSalary Range : $19..-$20.00 / hr
