About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technician

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in operating room, level 1 trauma experience preferred

License : NY License required

Certifications : BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required

Must-Have : NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician

Description :

The Operating Room cares for a wide variety of patients.

Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma.

There are 2 robotic surgical systems utilized by various specialties.

The surgical program involves organ transplants including livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Candidates should possess the ability to scrub and circulate during procedures.

Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
