Business Development Specialist – Houston, TX
About the Role :
A growing architecture and design firm is expanding its Houston office and seeking a driven Business Development Specialist to help grow their healthcare and education sectors. This role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry and experience engaging with decision-makers in educational and healthcare organizations.

Compensation & Benefits :
Base Salary : $95,000–$100,000
Sign-On Bonus : $2,500–$5,000
Opportunity for growth based on experience (3-year experienced professionals may start closer to $70–$80k)
This is an ONSITE position.
Work Environment :
Expect a mix of regular office work and busy periods with client-facing activities
Frequent onsite visits and networking with top healthcare and education professionals
Ideal for candidates who thrive in in-person relationship-building roles
Location : Houston, Texas
Responsibilities :
Drive growth in healthcare and education sectors in the Houston region
Identify and cultivate new client relationships with educational institutions and healthcare organizations
Attend industry and community events to generate leads and maintain visibility
Collaborate with leadership to implement regional growth strategies
Maintain CRM pipeline and provide regular business development updates
Must-Haves :
Willingness to be onsite regularly (remote-only candidates will not be considered)
Experience in the AEC industry with a focus on healthcare and education
Strong relationship-building and networking skills
Ideal Start Date :
As soon as the right candidate is identified
