Your Role :

As an Electrician Helper, you will aid senior electricians with basic electrical systems installations.

Duties will be the installation, additions, alterations, and / or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the residential and commercial electrical construction industry. Worksites are typically comprised of remodel, new construction, and service calls.

You will receive on the job training under the supervision of a Journeyman or Master Electrician, acquiring the skills and knowledge of the trade. Experience is preferred but not necessary, will train the right person.

Responsibilities can include :

• Assist in bending conduit, pulling wire, lighting layout
• Perform all electrical tasks with general supervision
• Learn to Install controls and electrical distribution packages, such as panels, disconnects, switches, relays, and circuit- breaker
• Working as a team and maintaining positive communication with colleagues and field supervisors
• Assist in assembling, installing, testing, or maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixture
• Assist in repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Always monitor processes, materials, and surroundings to detect and assess problems
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
