RN Telemetry (Ortho Neuro) - Per Diem

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse to join a dynamic 30-bed Telemetry-Ortho-Neuro unit in Illinois. This is a Per Diem position with both day and night shifts available. Flexibility is critical- no block scheduling or guaranteed days off .

Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality nursing care on a telemetry / orthopedic / neurology floor

Manage patient loads of 1 : 5 to 1 : 6 ratios

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

Monitor and interpret EKGs and respond to changes in patient condition

Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate a caring, professional demeanor

Requirements :

Active RN license in the state of Illinois

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (must have)

Proficient in EKG interpretation

EPIC EMR experience required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work flexible, non-fixed schedules
