Solid Waste Collections Manager

This classification coordinates work and provides day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to Scalehouse Collections / Solid Waste Collection staff. Overseeing customer service and customer accounting functions and / or Solid Waste Collections staff performing a variety of tasks, including the County's solid waste and recycling services operations to ensure efficient operation of the section. The primary role of the position is to provide daily supervision, technical advice, training, and information to Scalehouse Collections and / or Solid Waste Collections staff, in order to ensure optimal customer service and use of resources.

Working Conditions : Solid Waste Collections : Indoor / Outdoor situation, high noise environment while performing certain responsibilities. Lifting equipment up to 50lbs. alone; up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
