Cash Posting Specialist

A company is looking for a Cash Posting Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately post manual and electronic cash batches, adjustments, and denials, and reconcile posted cash batches

Review remittance advices for accuracy and resolve unapplied / unidentified cash receipts

Assist with monthly close functions and maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications and Education

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum two years of experience in posting medical insurance payments

Knowledge of cash accounting and accounts receivable processes

Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment

Flexibility to work overtime as needed
