Assistant Accountant

Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant onsite in Hollywood, CA!

Essential duties & responsibilities :

• Maintain Accounts Payable files.
• Sorting and filing financial documents.
• Answering general accounting emails and telephone calls.
• Assisting with Foreign Levies and Clip check runs.
• Preparing Annual 1099’s and 1042’s.
• Preparing Excel schedules for cash transactions.
• Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, accounts payable, and

accounts receivables.

• Responsible for maintaining vendor records in Business Central.
• Oversee the annual Iron Mountain storage process.
• Fast-checking invoices for payment and processing.
• Preparing and processing daily check deposits into the bank.
• Assisting in account analysis and account coding.
• Reconciling account balances.
• Collection of phone calls and e-mails as needed.
• Assisting others in the Accounting department as needed.
• Filing, mailing, and other duties as needed.

• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Experience :

• 2 3 years of administrative or accounting experience.
• Organized and experienced in preparing Excel worksheets.
• Previous experience with an Accounting System (MS Business Central).

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods of setting at desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
