CDL Driver needed for local Fabrication shop
Pay rate : $16.00 - $20.00, Depending on experience
Shift : 6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm, Monday - Saturday
Location : Cottondale, AL
Job Responsibilities :
- No overnight loads with long hauls.
- Load trucks, strap trucks, mark trucks, get paperwork signed, and other potential shipping / yard tasks.
- Hauling typically the 18-wheeler with up to 45,000 pounds of fabricated structural steel beams, handrail, etc Sometimes a gooseneck trailer with steel. Requirements :
- Clean Driving Record
- Class A CDL
- Current Medical Card
- Experience as a Flatbed truck driver specializing in steel hauling Benefit :
- Eligible for holiday pay and workers comp insurance immediately.
- After 90 days they are eligible for BC / BS insurance coverage (Company pays 50% of cost), AFLAC coverage, and $10,000 life insurance.
- After the first year, eligible for vacation days, sick days, 401K ( match 4% of 5%), and another free life insurance policy.
- Quarterly bonuses
- Raises are typically reviewed and given each year
