Responsibilities
Overview
IES Residential is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Clerk to provide essential administrative and clerical support to keep daily operations running smoothly. This position is part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Reception Support
Greet visitors and clients courteously and professionally.
Answer, screen, and route phone calls on a multi-line system.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area.
Clerical & Administrative Tasks
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
Perform data entry and general office recordkeeping accurately.
Monitor and organize office supplies and assist with reordering as needed.
Scheduling & Communication
Assist in coordinating meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
Take accurate messages and distribute information promptly.
Support communication between office staff, field teams, and vendors.
Document Preparation
Create and edit simple documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Scan, file, and maintain digital documents.
Team & Office Support
Provide support to both office and field personnel as needed.
Assist with travel coordination, purchase orders, or vendor communications.
Help ensure the office runs efficiently day to day.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
Experience in the construction or electrical contracting industry is a plus but not required.
