About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PCMS CVN QA Inspector to support our partner with quality assurance efforts for the Passive Countermeasure System (PCMS) on U.S. Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carriers (CVNs) . This role is critical in ensuring shipboard survivability by maintaining the Navy’s stealth and countermeasure standards.

The ideal candidate has prior shipyard or naval QA experience, strong knowledge of NAVSEA standards , and current PCMS certification with CVN endorsement (or ability to obtain it).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of PCMS tile, coating, and material installations on CVN platforms.
• Verify all work meets NAVSEA Standard Items, JFMM, and MIL-STD specifications .
• Document, track, and report inspection results using Navy-approved QA systems.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances; work with shipyard teams and supervisors to ensure compliance.
• Provide final QA sign-off for PCMS installations and repairs on CVNs.
• Support audits, testing, and inspections with Navy QA representatives.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready QA records and inspection reports.
• Uphold all safety and security protocols in shipyard and onboard environments.
