Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Join Our Team in Redford, MI

We're a locally owned, family-oriented business established in 1978, based in Redford, Michigan . We're currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to help service and maintain our fleet of trucks and equipment.

What We're Looking For :

  • Proven experience in diesel mechanics and general equipment maintenance.
  • Willingness to learn and grow-training provided in welding, fabrication, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available after hours when needed.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • CDL license is a plus ; a clean driving record is a must .
  • Employment references required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

    • You Are :

  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • A team player who values collaboration and long-term success.
  • Versatile and open to training and development.
  • Able to read repair manuals and complete work orders using fleet maintenance software.
  • Comfortable using diagnostic tools and computer systems.

    • Preferred Experience With :

  • Freightliner trucks with Cummins engines.
  • Diesel engines, excavators, Bobcats, bulldozers, tractors, and other heavy equipment.
  • Automotive electrical systems, hydraulics, troubleshooting, and rebuilds.
